Survey and inspection on licensed sites.

Survey and inspection operations on nuclear licensed sites, operating under appropriate safety cases, radiation work permits and site-specific RAMS. Aerial survey, confined space UAV inspection and structure condition survey — all delivered to the procedural and documentation standards of the nuclear sector.

Operational capability on licensed sites.

We have experience of working on nuclear licensed sites and within controlled areas, operating under radiation work permits, site-specific safety cases and detailed RAMS documentation. All operations on nuclear sites are planned in close coordination with the site licence holder, with work packages, risk assessments and method statements developed to meet the procedural requirements of the nuclear safety management system before any mobilisation takes place.

Aerial survey and structure inspection within controlled and restricted areas follows the same engineering standard applied on all our projects — survey-controlled, independently checked and delivered with full QA documentation. UAV operations on nuclear sites may be conducted under enhanced RAMS conditions including dosimetry monitoring, defined flight envelopes and briefed emergency response procedures, ensuring safe and compliant operations in radiologically controlled environments.

Indoor UAV inspection using collision-tolerant platforms is particularly suited to nuclear structures and vessels where dose constraints make manned confined space entry unacceptable or undesirable. Internal inspection of cells, chambers, tanks and structural voids can be carried out remotely, with HD video and stills delivered as the primary inspection record — reducing dose uptake and eliminating the programme risk associated with manned confined space entry.
