Rail Infrastructure

Full-corridor survey intelligence for rail.

Aerial corridor survey along operational and disused rail lines delivers the embankment condition assessment, earthworks geometry and drainage asset record required for routine maintenance planning and renewal programmes. UAV photogrammetry provides consistent, high-resolution coverage across multi-kilometre extents, reducing the need for walking inspection parties and delivering spatial data directly into GIS and asset management systems.

Viaduct and structure inspection combines UAV platforms with RAMS documentation appropriate for operational railway environments — whether line-blocked, possessioned or adjacent to open running lines. Close-range imagery of soffits, spandrel walls, arch rings, abutments and piers is captured systematically and compiled into condition reports structured to the client's inspection management framework, including reference to Network Rail standards where applicable.

LiDAR clearance scanning provides the precise internal geometry of tunnels, underbridges and overhead line infrastructure required for kinematic envelope analysis, electrification design and as-built verification. Point clouds are delivered in LAS format with registered survey control, suitable for integration with BIM models and clearance software, giving rail engineers the spatial accuracy they need without the cost and risk of manned measurement operations on the live railway.
